Let me first say that I am truly humbled that you would even take the time to want to know anything about me. Just know, anything good or interesting about me is from what Jesus has done in me.

Here you will learn more about me and all the incredible things Jesus has done, is doing and will do with my life. You will see and hear (though I am not good at recording and editing) I am a songwriter, Preacher, Pastor, husband, father, brother, son, leader, mentor, life coach, student, a saved sinner and a child of God

I grew up in a home with incredible loving parents and the world’s best big sister, but Christ was not a part of our family. My parents divorced when I was 11years old. At 15 years old there was a girl that invited me to a youth group and the night I went, I got radically saved I received my calling to Pastor/Minister.

It was at 15 yrs old that I preached my first sermon and since then have preached over 2,500. Additionally, I started playing drums on the worship team, and serving everywhere I could. From the moment I got saved I started telling everyone about Jesus. My passion is to see lost people saved and those that are saved built up in the LORD.

Furthermore, the girl that invited me to church became my girlfriend and we got married six years later. I was a Youth and College Pastor for quite some time in San Jose at two churches where we started ministries like: skate park, homeless, missions, illustrated sermons, and internship to name a few. In 2004 God stirred our hearts to Sr. Pastor and I became the Pastor of New Beginnings Church in Los Banos. Once again we saw incredible growth, yet in 2012 I was asked to come and do a re-launch of a Young Adult Ministry (18-37 yr old) at a large church in San Jose which grew very fast.

After seeing the Young Adult Ministry grow very fast. We knew we had to hand it off to their generation to lead it and experience leading one another. So we handed it off and prayerfully sought our main calling which is to Sr. Pastor. Laura and I spent quite some time praying and waiting for the LORD’s direction and as always. Then in December 2014, I became the Sr. Pastor of Full Gospel Assembly of God in Shenandoah, Iowa. The church was looking or leadership and change and since God has always used to us to turn ministries around, that is what we did. We gave established many ministries, flow, structure the Purpose driven model, raised up 3 credentialed ministers (1 became a missionary), changed the name to be more modern, updated the facilities, refinanced, restructured the Bylaws and much more. While there, we had to correct false doctrine that is very damaging to all churches in that area called “Word of Faith” (TV Preachers), we established historical and sound Christian Theology and Doctrine.

After being the change agents, we knew it was time to hand off the church with money in the bank, facilities updated and set up and a turn key ministry to the next Pastor. The LORD was stirring our hearts back to the Bay Area where the World is flocking to live there. What a GREAT evangelistic opportunity.

Amazingly, in June 2017 the LORD opened up a secular job for me to bring us back which allowed me to focus on Pastoring my family as we adjusted from moving from Iowa where the kids established deep connections. We thank God for our time in Iowa and are humbled how He entrusted and used us to establish so much there.

Humbly at each of the ministries we have served at, we have consistently seen God bring vision, values, paradigm, leadership, and much more to those ministries where there is continual evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, serving, and intimacy with God. That seems to make sense as my top three spiritual gifts are: Leadership, Preaching and Evangelism. I love to problem solve, bring establishment, organization and to EQUIP people to be all God wants them to be.

Currently (as of June 2019), after being back in San Jose for 2 years, we are patiently looking to Sr. Pastor again where the LORD leads. In the meantime, I guest speak regularly at various ministries and volunteer at my church.

My life is not about building me up (I know a website with my name seems narcissistic and to the contrary), but to lift Jesus up by saving lost people and then building (equipping) Christians to take this world for Jesus with a relentless pursuit. This website is for those who have known me or heard about me to easily find me and then for me to be a resource so Jesus is remembered above all else.

I have a deep passion for Christian leaders (Pastors, Pastor’s families, Evangelists, Missionaries, Deacons, Elders and Ministry Volunteers). That is because I know what it is like to serve your brains out, but not know who to talk to when you need to talk. Leadership is an honor, but also a unique lifestyle. It is hard to find safe people to lean on that either understand or that you can trust. So, I started one facet of a dream to help them and now I am a Certified Christian Life Coach and have started my own Life Coaching business called “On Target Life Coach” (click link to my Life Coaching Site). Pastors, their families, Missionaries and Evangelists have unlimited free sessions.

Additionally, coming from a divorced family myself, Life Coaching (much like Pastoring) has allowed me to help marriages, prepare marriages, strengthen relationships and help kids of divorce.

I hope this site continually becomes a resource and blessing. It is my ambition to keep things fresh and accessible to those who want to utilize it.
